The change of bulbs is incredibly easy as the Xtreme DX is connected directly to your current original ballast (if you have xenon) or connected to the vehicle's original connector (if you have halogen)! Mounting in the vehicle (xenon):

If necessary, loosen the headlight
Check how the electrical connector is mounted on the existing bulb and disconnect it
Release the spring clip of the HID bulb, then remove the HUD bulb
Only for D2S / R or D4S / R: Mount the detachable mounting sleeve in the headlight
Install the Xtreme DX bulb in the headlight, connect the power unit to the original ballast
Place the power unit and ballast in the headlight
Finished!
 

Mounting in the vehicle (halogen):

Loosen any screws that hold the bulb holder (some types do not have screws) and then mount the bulb holder in the housing
Insert the Xtreme DX bulb into the headlight and rotate to the correct position
Finally, connect the bulb to the drive unit and the vehicle's original connector
Finished
