CANM8 CANNECT HIGHBEAM-4 (CAN Bus Multi Output Interface) Hi Beam, Side Lights, Ignition & Reverse

The CANM8 CANNECT HIGHBEAM-4 interface is a 4 output CAN Bus interface which provides a quick solution for detecting high beam activity on vehicles which feature CAN Bus wiring. The HIGHBEAM-4 interface also features outputs for ignition-on, side lights and reverse gear. This interface features "Key-In" detection with compatible vehicles enabling the ignition-on output to remain active when the ignition is turned off but the key remains in the ignition.
Outputs

High Beam      >      12V / 24V (1A max) when the high beam is On.
Side Lights      >      12V / 24V (1A max) when the side lights are On..
Ignition On      >      12V / 24V (1A max) when the ignition is switched on.
Reverse Gear      >      12V / 24V (1A max) when reverse gear is selected.
Applications

The CANM8 CANNECT HIGHBEAM-3R is an ideal solution for vehicles which require the installation of additional driving lights (via a relay) which are switched on when the vehicle high beam is active. This interface allows quick and easy installation which integrates the control of additional driving lights with the vehicle's high beam control and other accessories that require Ignition On and Reverse Gear sensing.

Installation Details

The interface features a mini wiring connector, which unplugs to allow easy installation. There are 2 connections to the vehicle CAN Bus wiring (CAN HI & CAN LO) along with a connection to a permanent, fused 12V / 24V power supply and an earth connection.

The interface incorporates a multi-function status LED, which indicates correct connection to the CAN system, CAN activity present and confirmation that the CAN identity has been recognised.

LED Status Details

Flashing Red: Searching for CAN information.

Solid Red: CAN Data received but vehicle not yet identified.

Solid Green: CAN Data received and vehicle type recognised.

Flashing Green: Vehicle speed detected.
